Rochester Hearing & Speech Center kicked off the first annual 30x30 Challenge on June 1st. This event, which supports the vital services RHSC provides, encourages participants to do something good for others in their community for the entire month of June. Whether you choose to walk, play a sport, hike with friends, eat better or get more rest, the Challenge is focused on helping you build healthy habits that will last through the month and beyond. While the Challenge was created as a virtual event for those to do on their own, RHSC is hosting 30x30 Thursdays; in-person, move and meet-up events that take place each week. Join us for a 5:30pm hike/walk at various parks followed by a 6:30pm meet-up at one of our partner breweries. Three Heads Brewing, Irondequoit Beer Co., and Swiftwater Brewing are all hosting events throughout the Challenge.
Registrants will receive an official 30x30 Challenge t-shirt and the option to receive a bandana for their pet workout partner. All participants are automatically entered into weekly raffles, and we're giving away some big prizes for those Challengers who get active on social media as well! Raffle items have been generously donated by Orange Theory Fitness, Untamed Nutrition, Three Heads Brewing, Al Sigl, RocVentures, and Bodymind Float Center.
