Beth McLellan
Director of Educational & Clinical Services

Elizabeth McLellan.webp

Beth McLellan has worked for Rochester Hearing & Speech Center for 35 years. After graduating from SUNY Geneseo with her Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, she pursued her Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Emerson College in Boston where she received Federal Grants for specialized training in Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education.

In September of 1988, she joined the staff of RHSC as a Speech Language Pathologist/Clinical Fellow. She began as a teacher in the ECCELS preschool special education program and was instrumental in developing RHSCs Early Intervention Program which remains near and dear to her heart. Over the years, Beth has taken on various leadership roles and is currently the Director of Educational and Clinical Services.

Beth is committed to the mission and vision of RHSC.  She believes that early childhood services are critical as they can change a child’s developmental trajectory. She is proud of the fact that RHSC is the only not-for-profit left with a footprint in Monroe County to continue to provide Early Intervention services. Despite low reimbursement rates, she is committed to finding ways to continue this important work.

Beth is a relationship builder who considers RHSC her home away from home.  She believes that communication and collaboration with staff, board, and the community are imperative to the growth and success of the agency.
