Austen Beaird, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Austen Beaird (he/him/his) currently provides audiological services at the Brighton and Greece offices. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing Science, with a minor in American Sign Language (ASL), from the University of Iowa. He then went on to receive his clinical doctorate from Gallaudet University. Dr. Beaird is fluent in ASL and can communicate using spoken English, ASL, and Simultaneous Communication (SimCom). 

 

Dr. Beaird provides audiological services for children and adults, including comprehensive hearing tests, hearing aid services, cochlear implant services, and auditory processing evaluations. He specializes in working with individuals with auditory processing difficulties, the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, and individuals with disabilities. 

 

Outside of RHSC, Dr. Beaird likes to hang out with his partner, Mylo and his cat, Etta. He can be found watching movies at the Little Theatre, doing a puzzle, or enjoying a cup of coffee.
