SEMINAR: Using Food Chaining
to Treat Food Selectivity

Participant outcomes from this seminar:

  • Identify characteristics related to food selectivity

  • Verbalize the steps to implement food chaining

  • Create at least one food chain

  • Modify food chaining based upon client abilities

Dr. Brown has received her Ph.D. in psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavioral Analysis from the University of Iowa in 1998. She did her post-doctoral fellowship at Kennedy Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins. She has been an assistant professor at the University of Maryland, Ohio State University and most recently, the University of Rochester.

Her private practice, Mealtime Rediscovered focuses on helping families make meals a happier

time for everyone in the family. Some of her specialties include Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, Pediatric Feeding Disorder, working with children who demonstrate neurodevelopmental disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Food Related Anxiety

and Food Allergies.
