Dr. Carrie Whitehead graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB) in 2002 after completing her residency at Rochester Hearing & Speech under the supervision of Dr. Larry Medwetsky. Upon graduating she worked for Dr. Nurbhai in Coudersport, PA, the town where both her parents grew up. She returned to the Rochester area in 2004 and worked as an Audiologist, specializing in improving the quality of life for individuals with hearing loss through the use of hearing aids and other assistive technologies.

Carrie, her husband Rob, children Alex and Liv and their Bassett Hound Lily reside in Honeoye Falls. Outside work, she and Rob enjoy a myriad of sports, supporting local teams (Bills, Sabres, Red Wings and Amerks), William Byron in the NASCAR series, the Angels (MLB) and the Sacramento Kings (MBA); traveling; golfing; reading and counted cross-stitch. She is excited to complete the cycle and be back home at RHSC.
